Golden State Warriors Game Recap – Feb.up three-pointer by the Warriors’ Stephen Curry with 0.8 seconds remaining that proved to be the difference in the game.

The Oklahoma City Thunder will play the second night of a back-to-back against the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday.

The second of a back-to-back means center Al Horford will rest, but the Thunder do get a welcome face back in the lineup: Guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will return.

He will work to help the Thunder (11-16) take down a Memphis team that has stalled since its seven-game win streak and is now 11-12 coming off a 144-113 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday night.

Here are the details of how to watch:

  1. Denver have won 12 out of their last 21 games against Oklahoma City. Feb 12, 2021 - Denver 97 vs. Oklahoma City 95; Jan 19, 2021 - Denver 119 vs. Oklahoma City 101.
  2. Westbrook, George lead Thunder rout of Durant, Warriors. Russell Westbrook had 34 points, nine rebounds and nine assists to get the better of old buddy and teammate Kevin Durant, Paul George scored 38 points, and the Oklahoma City Thunder embarrassed the defending champion Golden State Warriors.

Injury reports

THUNDER

Gilgeous-Alexander is ready for action. Horford is out for rest purposes on the second night of a back-to-back. Those are believed to be the only differences from last game, but this will be updated after head coach Mark Daigneault’s pregame press conference if necessary.

Grizzlies

Memphis’ injury report as of Tuesday night looked like:

Desmond Bane (personal reasons)Jaren Jackson Jr., Jaren (left meniscus)De’Anthony Melton (left shoulder soreness)Killian Tillie (left foot soreness)Justice Winslow (left hip displacement)

Simply looking at the Oklahoma City Thunder’s win-loss record doesn’t do justice to the way the team is playing.

For the seventh game in a row, the Thunder are leading at halftime. On Sunday, they’re doing it against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Warriors

Oklahoma City took a 52-41 lead into the break against Milwaukee. After the Thunder trailed 13-3 to open the game, they went on a 14-0 run to take the lead and extended that to double-digits at the end of the second quarter when Darius Bazley picked off a pass and got the easy dunk in transition.

Bazley has made all three of his shots for seven points. Lu Dort leads the Thunder with 16 and is the only player on the team to record double-digits in the half.

Khris Middleton leads the Bucks with 17 points while Giannis Antetokounmpo has 11 points and 11 rebounds.

At the half, the Bucks, who have the best offense in the league, are shooting 35.4% from the field (17-for-48), 3-for-18 from 3 (16.7%) and are 4-for-4 from the free throw line.

The Thunder are shooting 45.8% from the field (22-for-48) and 35.3% from 3 (6-for-17) but have made just two of seven free throws.

Oklahoma City has been excellent in the first half of recent games, a turnaround from earlier in the season.

The next game, Feb. 5, the Thunder took a 55-51 lead into the break against the Minnesota Timberwolves. They couldn’t hold on to win, though, suffering a 106-103 defeat.

One night later, Oklahoma City put up a whopping 83 points in the first half and led the Timberwolves 83-62. Minnesota made a third-quarter run but OKC held on to win 120-118.

On Feb. 8, the Thunder led the Los Angeles Lakers 60-56 at halftime but lost 119-112 in overtime. They replicated this two nights later, leading the Lakers 67-57 at halftime in a rematch, but Los Angeles won 114-113 in overtime.

On Friday, Oklahoma City led the Denver Nuggets 53-40 at halftime but Denver won 97-95.

Thunder Vs Warriors Last Game Results

The Thunder have been remarkable in the first halves of games this month, but have been unable to hold the lead, in part because Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has only played in two of the last six games. He’s out against the Bucks as well, so Oklahoma City will have to find offensive production over the next 24 minutes if the team is to hold on and get the win.
