It’s finally here! The final men's Major of the season. The Masters in Augusta is taking place in the Autumn for the first time ever and let’s face it, we are all excited. The betting market will be excited too. Skybet is so excited that they are offering eleven places on all Each Way bets.
So that must be worth a look. However, in some cases, their prices reflect in their offer. You might get some lower odds so it’s well worth shopping around.
Muscles DeChambeau starts as the favourite with the best odds going at 8/1. An Each way is pointless on him so if you fancy DeChambeau to do well then best to go for an outright win. Given his performance at the U.S. Open and the fact, he is likely to reduce every par five to a drive and short iron he cannot be ignored.
Rory McIlroy’s form of late has not been that of a player touted as 12/1 and yet that is where he is. Unless he gets out of the traps well McIlroy is hard to fancy for that career grand slam.
However, I’m not going for either of those. I have a feeling DeChambeau’ will come up short whilst McIlroy has been far from electric to warrant his price. So here are the one’s I’m going for:
Dustin Johnson 17/2 (PaddyPower)

Johnson is the man in form heading into the tournament following his tied second-place finish at the Houston Open last week. The American has not finished below sixth place in his last five events.
The man from South Carolina narrowly missed out on the spoils at last year's Masters, finishing tied second behind Tiger Woods. His power game is suited to the Augusta track as he will eat up those par fives.
Brooks Koepka 16/1 (Bet365)

Koepka has been plagued by injury but his performance at last week's Houston Open, where he was ten-under over the weekend is an ominous sign for the field. A proven major winner a fully fit Koepka has the mental approach and game to always do well at Augusta.
Tyrrell Hatton 28/1 (William Hill)

The European focus is very much on Jon Rahm but the form book suggests that the Englishman may be better value. Hatton’s victories this year at the Arnold Palmer on the PGA Tour and last month’s BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth show he has what it takes.
His record around Augusta is not great but he has a great short game and if he can the putter fired up he can definitely compete.
Byeong Hun An 200/1 (Sky Bet)

This will be the fourth Masters Tournament for the man from South Korea and the youngest-ever winner of the U.S. Amateur. Although he is an unlikely winner I fancy the Presidents Cup player for a bit of each-way action.
